About Us
The Purdue Chapter of AIChE was founded in 1929. Since then, our Chapter has grown to have over 200 General Members, as well as 50-60 members on our leadership team every semester.
Our Chapter is one of the most active chapters internationally; we have been awarded "Outstanding Student Chapter" by the National Board for nine years in a row!
Our leadership structure is composed of 10 committees, each focusing on one of our pillars: connecting students with students, industry, faculty, and the community. Learn more about our committees and their responsibilities here.
Our Values
Establish professional development opportunities for chemical engineering students
Foster a diverse, safe, and inclusive environment for students
Expose First-Year Engineering students to the chemical engineering program and ease their transition
Engage with both the local and national community through service projects and outreach events.
