The Executive Board
The Executive Board (E-Board) oversees and determines the direction of the Chapter.
The E-Board consists of five positions: President, External Vice President, Internal Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
All committees are overseen by an E-Board member, who advises their Committee Heads.
The E-Board represents the face of Purdue AIChE and are the only positions that are elected in Purdue AIChE.
The Marketing Committee
The Marketing committee heads the advertising of the Chapter and various events.
Their responsibilities include maintaining our social media, newsletters, print advertisement, and showcasing the work of our Chapter to the community.

The Chapter Relations Committee
The Chapter Relations committee develops and strengthens relationships with sister chapters, both nationally and internationally.
Their responsibilities include fostering professional and social development opportunities, planning collaboration events, and maintaining our Chapter’s presence between other chapters.

The Industrial Relations Committee
The Industrial Relations committee coordinates activities and communications with our industrial partners.
Their responsibilities include maximizing our members’ interactions with the different chemical engineering industries, organizing plant tours, and hosting our industrial partners for on-campus visits.

The Philanthropy Committee
The Philanthropy committee connects members with the Greater Lafayette and other communities, emphasizing our commitment to serving others.
Their responsibilities include organizing community service and charity opportunities with non-profits, including Natalie’s Second Chance No Kill Dog Shelter, the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross, and many others.

The Student Relations Committee
The Student Relations committee fosters student-to-student connections between all students in ChemE.
Their responsibilities include hosting engaging bonding opportunities, developing ideas for meaningful student interactions, and keeping our Chapter connected to our greater ChemE community.

The Faculty Relations Committee
The Faculty Relations committee creates opportunities for students and faculty to interact outside of an academic setting.
Their responsibilities include planning lunch-and-learns and other engaging events with faculty, as well as hosting our ever-favorite Jeopardy game night.

The Undergraduate Research Committee
The Undergraduate Research committee emphasizes and promotes the various research opportunities available to ChemE students.
Their responsibilities include connecting students to research through information sessions and panels, as well as preparing students to present their research at various events and competitions, including our very own yearly Research Symposium.

The Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee reaches out to First-Year Engineering and K-12 students to showcase what our Chapter and Purdue ChemE has to offer.
Their responsibilities include developing outreach opportunities for our members to connect with younger students and advocate for STEM education.

The Mentorship Committee
The Mentorship Committee pairs younger ChemE/First-Year Engineering students with an upperclassmen mentor to guide them through their time at Purdue.
Their responsibilities include planning engaging mentorship events and checking in with each mentorship pair to provide support.

The Diversity & Inclusion Committee
The D&I committee focuses on developing a sense of belonging and community for all ChemE students.
Their responsibilities include collaborating with cultural centers, hosting panels with engineering alumni with minority backgrounds, and highlight the importance of diversity in various industries.
